S & S 34180, recording only two copies. Felcone 432. Gaustad, p. 217, erroneously recording no date or place of publication. A Revolutionary War statesman, Boudinot is also known today for his theory of the Jewish origins of the American Indians, published in A Star in the West in 1816, a year following The Second Advent, a work important in the developing millenialism of the period, which culminated in the Millerite movement of the late 1830s and early 1840s. Boudinot's rarest work. See DAB.

This copy ends at p. 570, and there is no evidence of removal from this fine, tight copy. According to the final paragraph on p. 570, "This laborious work shall now be closed, with a repitition of the34th and 35th chapters of Isaiah as translated by bishop Lowth, preceded by his notes thereon, and an appropriate Psalm of David..."
