President Jackson's famous proclamation of December 10, 1832, in which he denounced nullification as treason and told the people of South Carolina that he proposed to enforce the laws of the United States. Streeter III, 1738 for an eight column broadside (printed on paper), probably printed in Washington. B & B 31105 (possibly). Cf. Sabin 35352: "A few copies were printed on satin, with ornamental border." Sabin does not hazard place of publication for his broadside on paper or satin. Cf. Collins 79 & 82 for similar examples.
