     Within the caption title is a large cut depicting an Indian and a white settler shaking hands in the foreground of a composite landscape above a caption, "Glad Tidings of Great Joy Unto All People." The map, highlighting the territories of Nebraska, Dacotah, Indian (Okla.), Co[lorado], New Mexico, Utah, and Washington, has been "Eng[raved] for John Beeson to illustrate the Claims of the Indians."
