(CARRIER'S ADDRESS). The Carrier's Address to the Patrons of The Jeffersonian. January 1, 1835. [Caption title]. Folio broadside with two columns of prose and verse & double typographical border. [Portland, Maine: 1835]. $500.00

Apparently unrecorded. Begun in 1826, in Paris, Maine, the paper in May, 1833, was transferred by Horatio King, to Portland. He had published it for three years previously in Paris; six months of which he was in partnership with Hannibal Hamlin.

King's paper was a weekly, and took the Democratic side. It was published for several years with a good degree of success, when Mr. King, finding more congenial pursuits, removed to Washington, and the paper ceased to be issued.
