Orig. cloth, printed paper labels. Some rubbing of bindings, and a little wear on upper spines; inked names on labels. Uncut. Some pencilling in text, but very good. $425.00

Sabin 51773, reporting 25 copies printed on large paper, excepting vol. 6, which was 150 copies. Our volumes, however, indicate the following number of copies printed respectively, vol. 1-6: 200, 200, 200, 170, 130, 160. Prospectuses are laid into four of the volumes, and volume 6 is the copy of Zachariah Allen, Rhode Island inventor and reformer, dated 1874.

DAB, under Roger Williams, comments that these volumes "reprint most of the letters and writings of Williams." In the note for John Cotton, DAB remarks that, "The pamphlets in the Williams controversies may be found in the volumes of the Narragansett Club Pubs., vols. I-IV (1866-70)."
