Containing the Whole of the Louisiana Swamp Doctor; Streaks of Squatter Life and Far-Western Scenes; in a Series of Forty-Two Humorous Southern and Western Sketches, Descriptive of Incidents and Character. General title-page for two novels each with apparently false 1843 copyrights: Lewis' Odd Leaves from the Life of a Louisiana "Swamp Doctor," and Robb's Streaks of Squatter Life, and Far-West Scenes. Cf. Wright I, 1659 for an 1850 edition with a long note on various editions; and Wright I, 2126 for Streaks (1847). Hamilton 608, not mentioning this edition of Lewis; Hamilton 604 and 627 for other editions of Robb.

Howes L 313, calling for an 1843 edition, but also listing our edition. Not in Imprints for 1843.
