Bennett, p. 106. Trimble was entomologist of theState Agricultural Society of New Jersey, as well as of the Horticultural Association of the American Institute. He reports that most authorities had long believe that the exhaustion of land was responsible for diminished fruit production, but he found fruit predators to be in ascendance. NUC reports about 20 institutional copies, but none at auction since 1968.
