Estes avers that the North (as well as Western Europe) is subject to religious delusion (Mormon, Millerite, Swedenborg, etc., etc.), which the South is not; therefore, the North is more subject to political error. England attempts to enforce no slave trading edicts as an excuse to control the high seas. Outbreaks and disturbances among the European peasantry are far more numerous than where slaves are employed. A fine Southern apologia.
